I know that being "great" at fighting is about more than just dealing or receiving damage. I want to have tactical decisions to make on a round by round basis. I want to have mechanically diverse options that make every combat feel different. I want a martial warrior whose capabilities improve as I level as opposed to simply having my combat numbers increase. For me, the 5e fighter completely fails at providing a rich tactical experience like that of the 4e fighter or the 3e warblade. If you don't feel that the battlemaster is boring, then this class probably isn't for you.Īfter playing a 3e Warblade and multiple 4e Fighters (Knight, and Weaponmaster), I can't go back to a fighter whose main schtick is doing the same thing round after round forever. I have tried playing one for many sessions, and it just falls flat for me. Such as Wednesday and Friday mornings.Disclaimer: I feel that the Battlemaster fighter is boring. SIDE NOTE: This campaign will probably be played a couple times a week. I would rather you ask then do it wrong and make us fix it later. Either add your skype details to your application or private message it to me so I may add you on there.ħ.) If you have any questions let me know. Voice communication is a must as I think it brings a lot to the game and is very important to me. Any post that do not have the number 1 in the title will be instantly denied and told to read the rules and try again.ĥ.) While creating your character you may start out with 1000 Gold right off the bat.Ħ.) We will be using skype as our voice communication median. Tell me what none vanilla class or race you are looking for and I will either nerf or buff it accordingly to make it fair and fun for everyone.Ĥ.) To make sure everyone is reading the rules put the number 1 in your application post's title so I know that you read the rules.

Make sure it is correct I will be double checking.ģ.) If it is in the srd or D&D tools it is probably allowed. Use this link to figure out what that is. As all my other campaigns are it is a choose your own adventure that will be effected by anything and everything you choose to do in the story.ġ.) Make your character sheet on myth weavers and submit it as a post so I may review it and invite you when you are accepted.Ģ.) We will be using a 32 point buy in system for this campaign. The story of this quest shall be told in four parts, however it is by know means a straight line story. If the party fails to resurrect you sadly you will no longer be able to play in this campaign. This will cost a large sum of gold so avoid it at all cost. If you die your party will have 7 days to get you resurrected. The Perma Death Rule: Although it is a scary situation to be in I have implemented a perma death rule. Don't let this keep you from applying if you think you get it and have at least read part of the handbook then by all means apply.

I am not asking for crazy experienced people but I do not wish to have to explain what an attack roll is during combat ten times in a row. This is my second campaign I will be hosting on roll20 and it is for people who know the ropes a little bit more. It begins in the small town of Edon in the land of Alerand." Most people would say 144 years is enough and you would agree, that is where your story begins. 144 years of war that has spread more blood and gore then any and all wars before its time combined. The heroes of course being you adventurer for you shall bring this world into an era that has not been seen in over 100 years! The year is 1294 and it is the 144th year of the Saradon Dynasty.
